Thank you Stanley Steemer! My house looks beautiful. Thank you for coming so quickly before the party. I was considering new carpet, but I didn't realize that it could look that new again with a good cleaning!!!
I was not happy with this cleaning. I had a large spot in my dining room. When Mike and Jason were leaving they told me that the spot was still a little visible and that it might come back. I have never had this happen when using Stanley Steemer before and have since used a spot remover myself that worked much better than Stanley. I will definitely think seriously about whether I have Stanley doing my work in the future. I have had them many times in the past and alway very good but not this time.
This is a late review on service performed 4/18/11. I spent about $500 having all carpets in our home cleaned. The crew was courteous and the carpets looked great after the service. It was the followup that was a problem. About a month after the cleaning, in multiple areas on several floors, the carpets began to ripple and apparently need restretching. It was certainly caused by the steam cleaning process. I don't know if the workers did something wrong or if this is a common issue for which I should assume the risk. However, I tried three times to contact the Stanley Steemer franchise about the issue and never could get a reply. I phoned, left messages on their website and the final attempt at contact with the company came as a result of the national organization calling with a customer service survey. I explained the problem to them and complained that I was not getting any response from the local franchise and the interviewer said he'd take care of it. I still never heard back. That was a couple years ago, and I get angry every day when I stumble over those ripples in the carpet. If this is a common problem with steam cleaning and no fault of Stanley Steemer, I'm perfectly fine taking care of the fix on my own. But since nobody ever returned my calls and e-mails, I'll never know and I have nothing but a negative feeling about the company. Readers, please consider that a lot of time has passed, so maybe their customer service has improved. And as I said, the carpets were clean after the service, and the cost was reasonable. Another consideration is that the franchise that performed my service was out of Omaha, so I'm not entirely sure if the company has since added a new franchise holder just for Lincoln.
Contradictions between cleaners and management. Burnt my carpet, never returns phone calls.
I think a more professional older person should have worked with the very young men. There were several spots left one of their excuse was it was heavy traffic area not so.. They used my water to clean and I feel they should have stated that prior to the appointment. Also I wanted my sofa cleaned and was very clear about it while setting up my appointment so the quote had changed once the youngmen arrived. So Needless to say the sofa didn't get cleaned. I will not suggest , or recommend them( Stanley Steemer).
