Went for an early evening dinner on New Year's Eve. Was no line to get seated, but once we were seated the service was terrible. Ran out of beverage while eating our salad. Food came out and I asked for steak sauce and a refill on my tea. Took another 5 minutes to get my Yes, and another 20 minutes to get the steak sauce after I asked 4 different people. Will not be returning to Longhorn Steak House.
The service was great, even when they got extremely busy. We we're told that our wait would be 20 min to a half hour but we were seated in a little over 10 min. The waiter was very helpful and attentive. Our biggest complaint was the food. The prime rib, the main reason that we chose this place, was very tough and bland. The sweet potato and mixed veggies were like warm. I understand when they are busy it might slow things down and the sides can cool off some but that doesn't excuse the prime rib. A properly cooked prime rib should almost melt in your mouth, not almost make you choke because you have to chew it so long.
I had never been to a Longhorn steakhouse so I wasn't sure what to expect. We had a larger group which usually is tough on any restaurant but they got it right on everything. Everyone's orders were perfect and the steaks cooked exactly like they were ordered. Impressive service and great food definitely better than the Roadhouse place and Outbacks.
Worst service ever was for over 20 minutes before waitress came over. She never came back until she got the check. My mother ordered well done got medium rare. The manager was a good guy but that was it. We will not be going back to this location. Oh yeah we were there a little over a hour and a half. Poor service simple and plain.
It was my partner and I's first time trying this restaurant. We had a great experience, the server was very welcoming and the food hit the spot. We told our server it was our first time and she spread the word to her manager, who gave us dessert on the house. I would go back when I'm in the area again. (My city doesn't have Longhorn)
