I have degenerative oesteo-arthritis in my left hip and am 65 years old. I would be a good candidate for hip replacement but both my doctor and myself agree that replacement surgery is usually a ten year plan so delaying surgery preferentially my choice.

I receive my Healthcare at the Omaha Veterans Hospital with great care and service. My doctor set me up for some aquatic hip therapy with Makovicka Physical Therapy in West Omaha. I am most pleased he did. I have found the staff most professional and very compassionate in helping me to stretch out the surrounding muscles in the hip as well the exercises strengthening the necessary muscles. I also am dealing with reduction of any inflammation which seems to directly help in the reduction of pain.
