Decent selection of books, offers a good value for the money. They don't have the newest books (obviously, they have older books because they resell at reasonable prices, depending on the book type). But they also have some newer books that definitely makes it a place to checkout.
Somewhat disappointed they got rid of there floppy comic section and only have trades now, but I can understand why.
I thought I would try selling some books again, it being the new year and full of optimism, hoping this place had changed. Nothing new to report on this place, it will take books that you have paid 10.00+ for and give you .10 or a quarter for. Just got back from taking about 75 books over, many of which were hardcover. How much did I get? 10.00 total. Bought 6 to read and the bill was 37.00, take ten off and still 27.00, what a rip off. I will now be using the books creatively that I want to get rid of, firestarter for the fireplace, cut up for pet bedding, or send them to a 3rd world country for toilet paper. I will NEVER take books to this place again to sell.
My favorite Omaha bookstore. No coffee / pastries are sold inside but all books are discounted. Nice people working here who dont bother you unless you want to ask them something. Great kids book area. Lots of extra "gifts" available. They'll order you what you cant find. Also have music section.
Staff is very helpful. It is a busy place with great buys!! New and used books. Great for children, students, adults... anyone who likes to read or perhaps needs a reference book. I have always found what I was looking for here and if I didn't know where to look, the staff was quick to direct me to where I needed to go. You won't be disappointed here.
A perfect book store! Everything I've ever bought has been in brand new condition and sometimes not even used once! Everything is organized, neat and clean. I also love their stationary section. All stationary items are brand new and incredibly low priced.
