Do NOT use Aardvark Moving. They have a history of cancelling on you at the last minute. Please read the reviews on Facebook and believe them. It happened to me. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Luckily, Two Men and a Truck bailed us out last minute. Please call them instead!

Furthermore, despite being significantly told that no travel fee would be charged, a fee of $175 that was not included on their estimate was charged to me. I have made multiple attempts to contact them for resolution by phone and email and have not even received the courtesy of a reply.

One guy began opening all of my boxes (without asking) and told me I packed everything wrong and that when he breaks it he won't be responsible. (Everything was wrapped and packed very well)
They were finally nice to us ...but only after we talked about calling the manager. In the process of filing a claim through my family who purchased this move for us as a gift.
Absolutely do not use Aardvark. If you are considering them, don't.

Broke a dresser,
I can't say enough about how wonderful this business is! My mother needed to move 3 hours outside Omaha on VERY short notice, and this company found the time to help her pack the next day and move her two days after calling - all for a very fair price! The representative I spoke with on the phone was kind and understanding each time, and worked to get me the best deal on this move. My mom reported the movers were great as well - very nice, quick, and hard-working. The movers packed and moved carefully (nothing was broken). I would highly recommend them. VERY satisfied!
The issues that I experienced were similar to many of those listed before. The movers showed up late. They were not professional and were careless. Damage done to almost all of the furniture that they moved including three dressers and a loveseat. Damage done to doors and walls throughout the house.
They were scheduled to come from 9 to 11am and didn't show up until 3:30pm without calling me at all. I had to call them multiple times and talk to the driver and the manager. When they finally did arrive I mentioned how late they were and was told that it's not their fault and thing happen.
AND tried to charge us $250.00 MORE than the quote we were given in writing.
Was supposed to come between 8 and 12p & then pushed it back to 2-3p. Then ended up being the next day. Then cancelled altogether. All day before I am supposed to be out of my apartment. Obviously too small of a company to have solid communication between the receptionist & movers. Don't waste your time unless you don't need your stuff moved out on time :)
