Justin and Justin were on point...they called 20 minutes prior to arrival, showed up within the 30 minute arrival window, were courteous and professional the entire way through. The papers were explained and signed promptly and they went right to work. They whipped through my place with a nice pace...making quick work of things. My belongings were placed strategically in storage as if it were their own furnishings. Not a single knick or any damage during the process. They were so low maintenance they were NO maintenance. I have moved a ton of times and used moving services often and this was my best experience. When all was said and done, Black Belt proved to be a very affordable choice. I highly recommend them and when it comes time to move my stuff out of storage I will definitely use this company.
I have never seen movers working with such enthusiasm. They were incredibly fast and very nice to work with. Also, they are very affordable.
I wanted to love them, but I couldn't. Firstly, they were about 20 minutes late. I gave a pass on that initially because it was an early morning move and they had to drive through rush-hour traffic. Strike two was that they had booked a truck in addition to the two men needed for the move. I did not book a truck with them; I had my own. I thought overall they did a pretty good job. They were as fast as I would have expected, and seemed to pack the truck safely and securely. However...after the move was completed, I discovered that my $1200 PC that was packed in its original heavy-duty packaging had been dropped...hard. It didn't fall in the truck; they dropped it. So hard, in fact, that it twisted the PC case, tore out the power supply, and broke an internal fan. Black Belt's policy for damage is coverage to 60 cents per pound, but they have to weigh it, inspect it, etc. Nope. All in it will cost me about $115 plus my labor to repair. I can understand that these things happen; I'm only upset that they didn't tell me they dropped it. I found the damage days later as I was setting up my office. I now regret the $50 tip I gave them. Black Belt, make this right with a $100 check. Rick VanRoy
There are no words to explain Pat and Ben. They were absolutely amazing. They were on time and extremely efficient. The rates were great, especially for a weekend move. They were professional and went above and beyond. We had never used movers before so we were nervous. Within the first 10 minutes, my mind was at ease. They were careful and treated our furniture as if it was their own. They took everything apart and then put it all back together in the new house. They offered advice on placement and how to hide cords. We were very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone looking to move.
They arrived right on schedule and were super professional and fast. Finished the move in four hours and I know it would have taken me all day. This was the best money we spent and brought peace of mind to my wife and I knowing everything would be well taken care of. Couldn’t be happier!
