My family enjoys eating here a lot. We do tend to get the same things, but that is due to that is what we like when we go there. Service most of the time is good, but occasionally you can get bad service here as well.
Food was good service sucked. They had our server in two different sections on opposite sides of the restaurant. Even the Assistant Mgr forgot to bring water back when asked. We waited over an hour from when we sat down until our appetiser was served. One good note the Mgr explained there had been a mix up with one of the appetisers and gave us $5 off the check. The catch was this was right before our orders were served. So we went 45 minutes not knowing what was going on.
We went to this apple bee's because it's close to our play date. 3 moms and 6 kids. The servers are very nice to us, letting & storing our bday cake while we ordered and enjoyed lunch. It's a big crowd and they seats us to some corner area so we have more privacy without disturbing other guests. Adults ordered lots of appetizers to share. Portions & prices are pretty good. All agreed that we should go back and do this more often.
Gave them a second chance from the first time we were there a couple months ago..but the exact same thing happened. Had to wait at least 5-10 minutes for someone to come over and ask for our drink order, and then wait another 5-10 minutes for the server to grab 2 iced teas (nothing from the bar) and a milk for our daughter. When obviously had plenty of time to review the menu to pick out what we wanted to order so we did when she brought our drinks. BOTH times waited over 40 minutes before walking out because our food never came. When you have a toddler under 2, we go places that we don't expect to wait so long for food. I think for applebees over 40 minutes is ridiculous! We left a few bucks for our drinks and walked out. After this happening both times I will never go back to that applebees again.
Our waitress was extremely busy. It seemed that the people selecting her tables could only send large parties. We were a group of 4 and waiting an hour for our meals was too long. The meals were so so and mine was not correct at all. Our waitress was either new or just not very interested in being a good server. I will not go back.
