Very Impressed with the knowledge of one of the cell phone techs, he was able to transfer photos from a Boost flip phone, (over 7 yrs old & with no current cell service) to my current Android Smart Phone!!! These were the only pics i had of a very dear friend that passed away 2 days ago. No One else in town could figure out how to do it! PRICELESS!!!
Jenna (the assistant store manager) and Patrick (geek squad professional) were amazing! They helped me out in a great way and were extremely professional in doing so! Jenna defused a situation with a sales employee giving me incorrect information on the Geek Squad Mobile Phone Protection program. Great work Jenna and Patrick!!
Don’t purchase gifts at Best Buy! Their return policy sucks. You have 15 days to return. I purchased a Nest thermostat for my son’s birthday in mid November. He lives 200 miles away. He returned it to me the next time he was in town....this week He lives in an older home and the thermostat would not work in his home. They wouldnt even give me a store credit. I was going to buy 2 security systems for my children at Best Buy but not now nor will I EVER set foot in the store again. The are DTM !
I like the store but I don't like the information I get when I am looking for something. They like to up sale or I hear a lot of I have this and it works great. After having to return so many items the past months I think it's best to do your own research and read other people's comments.
This store will be the reason I never shop at Best Buy again. The manager had the personality of a pencil! Should have known not to shop there when I tried to get them to price match Harman Kardon speakers. The staff was so rude and unhelpful I don't know why I gave them a second chance however now I'm stuck with the TV that doesn't properly work. I plan to donate the TV to the Salvation Army. I paid 500 for it and at least I can write it all off. I spend thousands of dollars every year at Best Buy buying equipment TVs computers etc for my business I typically go to a Best Buy in my hometown of Killeen Texas those guys know me will they treat me well and we have a really good understanding. People with the Best Buy in Omaha all the reasons that stores close down and people resort to online shopping. I can tell the staff would rather text you then to talk to you none of them belonging customer service. I plan to pay off my Best Buy card tomorrow and never to return to another Best Buy store. My sister is a manager for Amazon in Indiana so I guess I'll try them out for now. They usually have better prices anyway and if you get a customer service experience you can only blame yourself!
