Switched to Geico after doing an online quote and found it to be around $150 a month less for entire family, called because after seeing the price I thought I must have missed something and I wasn't seeing it. The rep over the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable and was even able to get the insurance cost lower than my online quote.
I have had the worst experience with Geico ! I have never had to file a clam and 2 weeks ago I hit a deer. The support staff was amazing! I didn't know where to go or what to do. They told me about the body shop (great plans) that they go through. I took my car their got my rental, and thought wow everything is going great! To my surprise it was not! They did not fix my car the way it should of been fixed, and the Geico claims adjuster Dennis Franks was absolutely no help! I went to great plans at noon on November 29th and to my surprise my car had not even been touched but at 3 p.m. that same day I got a call that my car was done. I was completely dumbfounded!! I go to pick my car up to find that my bumper is not completely attached and their is still a hole in my grill. I will change insurance companies as soon as I get my car the way it was before the accident and I hope that if you are looking for insurance you do your research and find a different company!! I am a very good driver with no accidents! I also have a CDL! I have more training in driving then most, but to be treated the way I have been is completely uncalled for!!
Today i recieved an email from geico office in omaha after i had rold them that i was going with state farm insurance. They stated in the email that they had run a credit report. Would like to know why because i never gave them permission at all to do that. Dont ever trust an insurance company like Geico when they do whatever the hell they want
