My fiancé and I were willing to give this place a try since we heard how great it was from a friend! We seated ourselves and someone brought us menus and told us our waitress will be right there. Our waitress came 10-15 minutes later and we ordered our drinks and food. Our drinks came 10-15 minuted later. We ordered chips and salsa and our food came out about 35 minutes later, no chips and salsa in sight. Also, all of our food was cold. We told our waitress we ordered chips and salsa and she said she told the kitchen and that they would be getting them for us. I was half way through my meal before the chips and salsa came out. This has been one of the worst service experiences of my life. I will not be coming back. Very disappointed.
I stopped here to grab dinner tonight after a long week. We arrived approximately at 645 pm. We sat for 15 min before a waitress came to our table. We asked for a happy hour special and she replied it just ended about 30 sec ago because it's 7:00. I asked if they could still honor the special since we had to wait for 15 min before she came to our table. She started to argue and tell me we hadn't been there that long, like I was lying. I then told her I'm not going to argue and I would just leave. I then proceeded up to the bar to tell the manager/owner what had happened. He stared at me with no reply so I said not to worry about it, I was leaving. As we were getting into the car the owner came out and asked us to stay and the meal would be on the house and apologized. I thought that was a nice gesture so we stayed. We got a new waitress and she was great. At the end of the meal she brought a bill to the table for $30. My husband and I was a little confused so when she came back i said can you check with your manager because I'm pretty sure he said more than once he would comp the meal. Even if it wasn't the whole meal, I thought at least one drink or something? She said she checked with him again and he would only honor the happy hour price on the drink. Seriously? You asked us to stay and offered to comp the meal, then changed your mind? Wow! Who does that? My husband and I hear the exact same thing. He never once came back to the table to ask how things were going. I'm sorry but we won't be back, we get better service almost anywhere else!
I love this place, we come here all the time for the flour chips and street tacos. The seafood taco is a surprising delight and will not disappoint. Always priced right.
I got mixed vibes from this place. The restaraunt and bar are really nice and the interior is almost upscale, but the servers and bartenders are uninspired and really laid back. The food was good, lots of options. We tried an array of tacos, a couple we really liked and a couple we felt were pretty lackluster. Would definitely be willing to give it a second try, but first time was just alright.
Great food but you really need to hire more help!!! When we were there on Monday night it wasn't very busy but we had to get up and ask someone to wait on us. We got our drinks and waited some more for someone to take our order. When we finally got our order my husbands dinner was missing. One of the other servers had taken his and given it to another table. So we had to wait until his order came!! We had a nice server and he tried!!! He did comp my husbands dinner. We will come back another time and see if things have changed.
