The vast majority of the workers and the low-level supervisors have petty criminal records and/or mouths dirtier than a gas station toilet. Expect to hear the foulest gangbanger music as often as you hear the "F bomb" and the "N word" (don't say it if you're white, A-OK to scream it at the top of your lungs otherwise). Amusingly enough everyone hustles like they were selling something else where you are also paid by what you sell, and you can actually earn a fair bit of cash if you don't spend it all on cigarettes and overpriced vending machine food.
Hilariously the managers often complain that many new hires don't last a single day, or even past the first work break. If they had an IQ higher than a caterpillar they might figure out why.
Work consists of cleaning cars with shop grade vacuums, chemicals, etc. Expect to find everything from live ammunition to baby toys left behind and perhaps a discarded credit card if you're lucky. The pace is hard but not horrible except when there is a shortage of workers due to Monday hangovers or inclement weather in the winter. But hold on to your rump roast on auction day.

Buyers beware! this auction is a snake pit! auctioneers use every dirty trick in the book to run up bids, by calling fake bids then when you stop and get out bid and they see you aren't bidding anymore they retract their higher fake bid and hang you with a car for thousands over the worth! Green light and 14 da post sale mean nothing as they look for every phony BS excuse to favor the seller! and sellers bringing cars from New York to dump at this auction, ask yourself, why does all DM cars come from New York and why bring them here to sell instead of New York?? too much unethical things to list here!

If you're a woman you are actually 99% safe from harassment here! They might ogle but will NEVER lay a finger on a "shop sister". The general supervisor is a muscled behemoth of a man named Randall who will readily hand out painful reminders of proper behavior in that area, much like how a gang leader's girlfriend is very much Off Limits.
